Who we are

VZ RENT rents and sells vehicles on the Costa Blanca, serving Alicante, Torrevieja, Benidorm, Calpe, Ciudad Quesada and Guardamar.

Reservations

A reservation made through this website is a request. It becomes a confirmed booking only once we confirm it to you by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Submitting a reservation holds the selected vehicle for the requested dates while we confirm. If we cannot honour the booking we will tell you promptly and no charge applies.

Driver requirements

The driver must be at least 21 years old and must have held a valid driving licence for at least 3 years.

A valid identity card or passport and a valid driving licence must be presented when the vehicle is collected.

Only the driver or drivers expressly named on the rental contract may drive the vehicle.

Deposit and liability

No deposit is required to rent a vehicle: €0 deposit.

In the event of an at-fault accident or damage caused to the vehicle, the renter may be held liable for the costs relating to that damage, in accordance with the rental contract.

Use of the vehicle

Vehicles are intended for use within Spain only. Travel outside Spanish territory requires our prior written authorisation.

The vehicle may not be used for:

• any illegal purpose, or by a driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• motorsport, racing, track use or driving tuition
• subletting or transporting passengers for payment
• towing, or carrying loads beyond the manufacturer's limits

Fuel

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at collection. Any shortfall may be charged, together with a refuelling fee.

Collection, delivery and return

Vehicles can be collected at one of our pickup points or delivered to an address on the Costa Blanca, as agreed at the time of booking.

Any unauthorised late return may incur additional charges calculated per rental day. If you expect to be late, contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation

Cancellation at least 48 hours before the start of the rental is free of charge.

The conditions applying to cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the rental will be set out at the time of booking.

Breakdown and accident

In the event of a breakdown or accident, contact us immediately on the number given in your rental contract, and we will explain the procedure to follow.

Do not authorise repairs without our agreement.

Vehicle sales

Vehicles offered for sale are used vehicles. Descriptions, mileage and equipment are given in good faith; a prospective buyer is encouraged to inspect the vehicle before purchase.

Prices shown on the website are indicative and do not constitute a binding offer until confirmed in writing.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes fall under the competent courts of the province of Alicante, without prejudice to any consumer right to bring proceedings in another forum.
